Must Watch: What Skiers Do In The Summer? – Video

It’s been 10 days since the last Australian ski resorts powered down their lifts. 10 painfully long days. Made harder by looking at the snow still covering much of the hill up at places like Perisher.

We may try and find comfort in the knowledge lifts will spin again here in Oz in just 234 days – but admittedly they don’t make advent calendars that big. Perhaps more likely, you’re already counting down the days until your northern hemisphere pilgrimage in January or February.

Long story short, you’re not the only one suffering through this snowless interim. The unnamed ‘skier’ (if we might call him that) in the video above, is all of us during these hard times.

Doubtless, we reckon there’s more dedication in this edit than 95% of those we’ve seen out of either terrain parks or big mountains. The shower alone had us thinking as much, not to mention the pull-ups in full ski gear!

Although we can’t decide what our favourite summer skier activity is, there’s a shortlist below for further amusement!
