Bobby Brown soars above Cardrona

The recent snowfalls in the Southern Lakes region provided the healing the resorts needed after a couple of weeks of inclement weather.

The terrain parks have been on fire, with a large contingent of international super stars convening on the world class facilities offered by Cardrona and SnowparkNZ.

Bobby Brown (yellow and red) is the current golden boy of the park scene after taking out both the Big Air and Slopestyle events of the US ESPN X Games. He and Salomon teammate Alexis Godbout (in blue) are some of the standouts and they’ve been turning the heads of every person on the chairlifts.

Heavy snow at higher elevations is forecast for the weekend with a clearing trend from Tuesday next week. We’re taking the park rats heli skiing next week and they’ll be sending it big over the top of glaciers and Mt Aspiring, so stand by for another visual feast coming
up soon.
