PHOTO Snow Report – Snowbird Opening a Week Early

Snowbird will kick off its 2010-11 winter season a week ahead of schedule – opening Saturday, Nov. 13.

The Utah resort received over 30cm of snow in the past 48 hours and has fired up the snowmaking to ensure the early opening weekend will be a stellar one.

The Tram, Gadzoom and Chickadee lifts will be running Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13-14, regular hours, weather and conditions permitting.

The Tram and Chickadee will be open Monday through Thursday, Nov. 15-18, then re-open Gadzoom on Friday Nov. 19. Creekside will be open Saturday and Sunday but will then be closed the following Monday through Thursday.
