Sage Kotsenburg in Hakuba

Olympic gold medallist Sage Kotsenburg recently travelled to hakuba, Japan to chase some of the steepest back country runs in Japan. Sage had previously filmed up North in Hokkaido but found it was flatter so him and his crew came to hakuba for the steep terrain.

Sage won Gold in the snowboard slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia but is no longer competing and didn’t take part in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Instead his focus is on traveling the world for the best lines and filming with his Lick the Cat crew.
