SoO AirTime 2010 is over but it leave behind two incredible ski films. Such high quality Australian skiing is rarely captured. These two films showcase the skiers and the mountains; the world now knows that we’re more than just desert and kangaroos.

Over those few days in September everyone involved gave their all. We had people driving, cooking, digging, writing and of course people skiing and shooting. This is a behind the scenes summary on how it all went down.

Some may say we were unlucky with the weather. I’d say the opposite. We had one bad weather day and the rest was amazing. The nasty day was a disguised blessing, not in the face unfortunately, but it was an opportunity to give the films some character. Vic danced and sang, whilst NSW got their Buller on and schmoozed inside by the fire with a bottle of red. The final day, although not perfect was what we needed. It got us off the beautifully Mt Buller Park (MBP) crafted jumps and onto the rest of the mountain.

Thank you to everyone out there who supported us by talking it up, telling friends, liking us on facebook and loving what we had to say and show. The cliché lives on, that with out you we would not exist, especially next year.

These behind the scenes images were captured on black and white film – the old fashioned way
