Freeride World Tour

Northern Hemisphere winters produce plenty of froth-inspiring events for us to follow but we’re going to say the Freeride World Tour may be the ultimate. Six of the world’s most incredible freeride competitions, starring the living legends of freeride, both skiing and snowboarding and – and the importance of this is not to be underplayed – captured by the world’s best photographers and cinematographers and presented, for our viewing pleasure, on the world wide web.

Six times this season we will be transported to the peaks of the world’s most intimidating mountains; given a helicopter-eye-view of the likes of Candide Thovex, Xavier De Le Rue, Ane Enderud and Aline Bock dropping into unimaginable lines with incredible finesse.

In 2011 The tour will have stops in:

  • Chamonix-Mont-Blanc – France 22 January 2011
  • Engadin St.Moritz – Switzerland 29 January 2011
  • Kirkwood – USA – 26 February 2011
  • Sochi – Russia – 5 March 2011
  • Fieberbrunn – Austria – 12 March 2011
  • Verbier – Switzerland – 19 March 2011
