The Arlberg region in Austria has long been regarded as the cradle of alpine skiing and is home to a number of internationally renowned resorts including St Anton and Lech/Zurs.
The Arlberg also boasts some of the best freeriding terrain in Europe and The Arlberg Effekt celebrates that terrain and the local ski and snowboarding community who ride it.
Filmed during the 2020-21 winter, The Arlberg Effekt, features a host of locals including Freeride World Tour Champions Lorraine Huber and Nadine Wallner and legendary snowboarder Gigi Rüf.
The terrain in the Arlberg is vast and the mountains spectacular and this film invites you to “Explore the powder region in a cinematic way, as some of the best riders in the world show you their backyard.”
