SoO AirTime is only a week away so the Mt Buller Park (MBP) is in overdrive getting ready to cater for the best Aussie skiers and their filmers.

After three weeks of snow blessing the slopes the cat drivers and park crew have a bit more to play with. The Skyline park is rock’n a beginner, intermediate and advanced line. The Koflers park has expanded, turbo charging the lovely beginner jumps and rail features. The Summit park is shaping up to be as good as ever. A beautiful 40ft jump served us well before last week’s snow and now there are big plans. The highlight however has been ‘Frank the Tank’. Koflers T-Bar was revamped over the summer, going from diesel to electric. The diesel tank is now Buller’s favourite hit – ‘it’s all about how hard you hit it’.

Alex Gaynor (Purple Paint Productions) has been filming the action in the park all season and here are a few of his edits. Alex loves to shred but this season he’s been taking one for the team and filming all the guys up here, getting some stunner shots of Dre Bennett, Callum Jones, Nick Breheny, Scotty Talbut, the Clark brothers Locky, Andy and Hayden and of coarse himself. Look out for his OPEN EDIT entry because it’s sure to be a doozy.’

SoO AirTime is the newest ski competition to hit the Aussie slopes. The six best NSW skiers are traveling down to Mt Buller to take on the six best Victorian skiers in furious film battle over 3 days (31 August – 2 Sept). Each State will make their own short film that will be posted on sooairtime.com on the 5th September. The public vote for which state’s film is best between 5 and 17 September. There are prizes for voters, so check out sooairtime.com and facebook.com/sooairtime .
