Most of us would associate riding bikes in the mountains as a summer time pursuit; not Tim Johnson. This professional cyclist decided that he had to be the first man ever to pedal up the 4,285 vertical feet, with an average incline of over 14%, up the East Coast’s highest peak: Mt Washington. Along the way, he battled a 45km/hr headwind, freezing temperatures and slippery ice – but he made it. Insane, talk a glutton for punishment.
