Video – Stylewars 2009 Final Day

August 31st, 2009

Backside double cork 1260’s have taken 16 year old Sebastien Toutant to victory at the 2009 Stylewars World Snowboard Tour stop in Falls Creek, Australia.

Sebastien narrowly edged out Mikkel Bang from Norway by throwing down ridiculous runs, multiple double cork 1080’s (or Toots Rolls) and one run that included a backside double cork 1260 – the first ever in snowboarding competition.

Mikkel Bang Won Best trick with a run that included a switch backside 1260 that won him Silver at the X-Games in Aspen in January

Sebastien now leads the Swatch TTR World Tour Rankings and is the youngest person to ever do so. The Tour is now on hold till the Northern Hemisphere season with the first event in November.
