For the last nine days, two teams of two have been flying in helicopters, riding big lines, hucking off cliffs and filming the whole thing for the possibly the most high flying ski and snowboard competition in the World…

Both teams have produced a 5 minute edit along the event’s theme, “Big Adventure, Big Rewards…” Those edits are now being judged by an international panel to decide just who will walk away with the $10,000 prize purse.

While we wait to hear just which team has taken out the event, here’s an exclusive gallery of photos to wet the whistle…

The two teams in the World Heli Challenge this year are “Team Vacation” from USA/Canada comprising skiers Essex Prescott and Dylan Siggers filmed by Leo Zuckerman, and “Team Mates” with Jake Koia (Queenstown NZ) and Australia’s Ryan Tiene, with Mitchell Ayers filming. The teams each earned a place in the World Heli Challenge by submitting a video entry into the ‘Call Up’ and beat out twelve other hopefuls to get through.
