Minnesota is a place like no other. What would seem to most travellers in the winter as a cold, deserted concrete city is an amazing place for rail-riding and searching snowboard crews. Last year we decided to grab a band of youthful Aussie rail shredders and put them on a plane straight there to see what they could come up with. Below are a few images from the journey, the crew behind the scenes, and some rails that didn’t make the cut in the full article that was featured in Issue 7.

You have to be constantly on guard for cops when in the city. We dig holes to put the generator in, it helps reduce the noise.
Jake McCarthy from Berridale, NSW busting something a little different on this well-known rail.

Harry Crean from the Gold Coast taking a break, but still in high spirits after a heavy fall on the icy streets.
Minnesota is very cold. Both times I have been there the planes have had to be De-iced thoroughly by these guys with these crazy De-icing cranes.
