In this episode of the Chillfactor Podcast Reggae Elliss chats with snowboarder Briony Johnson, who will be representing Australia in the Freeride World champs in Spain next January. Briony started riding in Mount Hotham as a teenager but it was when her parents bought a lodge in Myoko Japan that her snowboarding really took off as she developed a love for deep powder and backcountry riding.

Briony is also the terrain park manager at Mt Hotham and one of the many women making a career in the Australian snow industry.

“I think there’s only going to be more and more opportunities  for women to take on those roles that they may have been hesitant to take on as in the past it was seen as a bloke’s job”
