The storm that just hit Hotham over the last two days was epic! Strong winds and heavy snow down to below 1000m.

All told there was 51cm of fresh snow deposited over the resort and the snowmaking areas got a rest as the skiers and boarders headed off onto terrain that was opened up for the first time in 2010. More lifts are expected to open in the coming days, and there’s more snow on the way.
