Australian Forecast, Friday August 9th – Skies Brightening for a Stunning Weekend
Mountainwatch |The Grasshopper
The weakest of fronts has brought a slight trace of snow to Victoria overnight. It’s rather damp and murky there now, but things will brighten up later this afternoon as they will also do in NSW this morning.
High pressure will bring clear, calm skies this weekend and Monday, along with mild temperatures. As we’re now halfway through the season, this will be a great opportunity to rack up your slide time.
Friday August 9th
A murky, drizzly start to the day for Victoria, but it’ll start to brighten this morning, although light showers might turn up around midday/early afternoon before brightening again later.
In NSW, clouds will break up this morning for a partly sunny day.
W-NW winds drop away this afternoon.
Saturday August 10th
Fine with a little morning high cloud and light winds.
Sunday August 11th
A stunning, bluebird day with light W-NW breezes.
Monday August 12th
Another bluebird day with N-NW breezes.
Extended Forecast
High pressure will keep a lid on things through the first half of next week with temperatures likely to remain mild. Thankfully, any rain showers that turn up on Tuesday or Wednesday will be light. The forecast for the back half of next week is still uncertain, but a cold change is on the cards at some point with a little snow likely in the mix.
That’s all from me today, folks. The next forecast is Monday. See you then, and have a great Weekend.
