Amazing conditions lined are up for the working week after 10-15cm of quality powder fell Saturday night, followed by an extra 5cm from snow showers on Sunday.

Any cloud cover will clear up Monday, leaving sunny skies for several days as high pressure drifts over the Aussie Alps. Overnight temps should also dip below zero to allow additional snow-making, while these strong, chilly southerly winds will gradually die off.

Extended Forecast

A cold change is likely to bring some more snow showers this weekend and possibly more through the first half of next week, although models differ on this and the amount expected. Nevertheless, it should be fairly cold, which will keep the snowpack in good shape and allow more snow to be made.

That’s all from me today, folks. The next forecast is Wednesday. See you then, and have a great couple of days.
