Snowfalls last weekend dropped 30+cms above 1700m but rising freezing levels resulted in rain at lower elevations. The weather cleared yesterday with cold temps putting a good freeze into the snow.

More lifts and terrain have opened over the past two days which has helped spread out the crowd and alleviate long lift lines, especially in the NSW resorts where school holidays are still in full swing. Reggae Elliss reports from Thredbo with thanks to XTMPerformance
