Mountainwatch | Video Snow Report

It has been a wild few days in the mountains with 40-80mm of rain last Sunday/Monday followed by strong winds and snow showers that have dropped 15-20cms above 1700 metres since Monday morning. While the cover at lower elevations copped a beating there is a still a good cover on the upper mountain in the major resorts. After another 3-5cms yesterday, the weather cleared overnight for a fine day with windblown stashes and fun turns on and off piste.
