Mountainwatch | Video
Presented by the North Face, Circle of Madness stars skier Markus Eder and snowboarder Victor de Le Rue, the pair taking their progressive freeriding into the big mountain terrain of Haines Alaska.
Markus and Victor are close friends, both Freeride World Tour champions, and two of the best ever who are the top of their game. Their approach to the spines and huge natural features is amazing and they ride some insane lines, all captured perfectly by film maker Christoph Thoresen.
Circle of Madness was awarded film of the year at the iF3 (International Freesports Film Festival) which is understandable as it is one of the best ski/snowboard films you’ll have the pleasure to watch.

“The first time I’ve been here, it definitely did something with my mind. It changed me as a skier. Alaska is the pinnacle of the sport, it’s where you find out what you’re made of.” – Markus Eder
“We are spending a lot of time here because it’s our dream place. where we can express ourself the best. We are riding all the lines we had in mind for so many years and when you’ve done it, like all your dream lines do you want to come back?” – Victor de Le Rue
