As one of the most highly anticipated Australian adventure movie releases in recent memory, Sugar Mountain will debut a new level of progression in Aussie backcountry skiing and ski-film production. Filmed utilising the latest in available robotic-drone technology, this movie looks set to not only raise the bar in adventure documentary film-making, but also help establish the production team among the ranks of better-known international film crews like Sweetgrass Productions and Teton Gravity Research.

OFFICIAL BLURB:

Sugar Mountain is a new wave ski adventure film by award winning director Richard James in association with Helly Hansen. The film chronicles the story of eight friends and the quest to find the mythical Sugar Mountain.

Set in the wilds of Alaska, Sugar Mountain brings a fresh style and a unique outlook to the adventure documentary genre by replacing helicopters with bleeding edge drone technology, and adventurers with urbanites.
