When you were watching the winter Olympics last year  you may have noticed that the Australian athletes were wearing XTM gloves.

The Australian company has been an official supplier and supporter of the Australian team for the past three Winter Olympics, providing our top winter athletes with premium gear, including gloves.

The gear is also tested by XTM freeride ambassadors as they travel the world in search of powder and and big lines.  Below are a few of our favourites premuim gloves/mitts in XTM’s range.

Everest Mitt and Glove

Designed to be the warmest Mitt and Glove in XTM’s range, this is my go-to for those freezing days and comes into its own on those snowy, windy storm days when the wind chill is down at -18.

Made with a premium dexterose goatskin-leather outer and protected with the guaranteed to keep you dry GORE-TEX®-Warm membrane, the everest is packed full of 250g of primaloft gold insulation and has a plush, warm Aussie lamb’s wool cuff. If you’re someone who experiences cold hands or heading on a norethern hemipsher snow holiday, the Everest is for you.

The Everest glove or mitt keeps your hands warm in the coldest temps.

The Patrol Gore-Tex Snow Trigger Mitt

I’ve been wearing this glove/mitt this winter in all conditions and it has quickly become a favourite. Comfortable, warm and it keeps your hands dry and the trigger finger gives you the dexterity of a glove and the warmth of a mitt. The material is a combo of soft shell and goatskin leather with Australian merinoLite insulation and the Gore-Tex membrane to keep the elements at bay.

The Patrol Trigger Mitt is warm and has the dexterity of a glove

For those who prefer a full glove the Patrol glove has the same construction and materials as the Trigger Mitt.  The Patrol also has reinforced leather palm panels – the Patrol is built to last and available in both XTM’s men’s and women’s ranges.

The Fable GloveThe unisex Fable glove is a technical glove favoured by XTM athletes and snow professionals, the fable is constructed in soft but durable goatskin leather. It has padded impact zones on the back of the hand and fingers for protection and reinforced panelling in high wear areas.

The Fable has a Gore-Tex breathable membrane and also ‘‘GoreGrip’, which essentially amounts to a specially designed grip tape within the Gore-Tex insert and inner lining to ensure maximum grip and minimum slippage with the outer goatskin leather shell. The low-profile cuff fits neatly under outerwear and your fingers will have the dexterity to match the grip.

Radiator Gore-Tex Women’s Mitt

If your hands fee the cold, the Radiator is the mitt you need

If your hands feel the cold this mitt is for you with 330g Hi-loft insulation and a plush lining for extra warmth and comfort. The Radiator also has a warm Gore-Tex membrane, which will keep you dry, and a low profile cuff the fit snuggly under your jacket sleeve. The goatskin leather palm is super comfy and like every thing XTM produces, the Radiator Mitt is a certified carbon neutral product.
