Pow Pow Reggae is a new snow podcast co-hosted by Mountainwatch’s Reggae Elliss and Vaughan Deadly from the massively huge surf radio show Ain’t That Swell.

It’s radio-style chat show “covering all things white and cold in STRAYA! Is it any good? Well, if you take the 100% elite level knowledge of Australian snow culture Reggae has and combine it with the 0% knowledge of anything to do with snow that Vaughan has you have an average of 50% something worth listening t! Which is pretty bloody good, sort of…”

So good that Aussie snowboarder Valentino Guseli thought it’d be cool to take time out from riding the May powder in Mammoth this week to be the first-ever guest on the show.

It’s been a big year for Val and he has plenty to talk about including his recent big air world record, getting hassled by locals while surfing under the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, his semi-secret plans for this Australian winter, his goal to not only win the Olympics but to branch out into freeriding and become one of the best all-round snowboarders ever!
