Queenstown/Wanaka Snow Report, July 29th, 2026

July 29th, 2026

Mountainwatch | Video Report

After snowfalls last week, conditions have been very good across the Southern Lakes resorts with sunshine, cold temps and quality dry snow. The good news there is more snow on the way, a strong front due tomorrow. Snow levels will initially be on the high side, but colder air sweeping in behind the front will send snow down to very low levels the Southern Lakes resorts should score around 5-15cm of quality powder
