Torah Bright is hosting her annual mini-shred in Thredbo this Sunday, July 14 at Friday Flat. Open to junior skiers and boarders, the mini shred gives intermediate riders the chance to shred with their friends and pick up tips from Torah and her professional friends, some of the best snowboarders and skiers in the country. The coaches roster is impressive with an number of Olympians, including snowboarders Emily Arthur, Nate Johnstone and Jarryd Hughes and skiers Russ Henshaw, Scott Kneller and Michael Milton.
The Thredbo Park crew have designed a cool mini-terrain park at Friday Flat with a jib and jump line, rollers and transitions. The min-shred is all about fun and progression in a friendly environment and Torah’s min-shred in a highlight on Thredbo’s event calendar,
There’s also a signing session with Torah and the coaches, a sausage sizzle, DJ and giveaways thanks to Roxy, Rhythm Snow Sports and Aspen Snowmass.

Seeing the talent level of little Aussie shredders is amazing…It’s incredible to have such a brilliant line-up of inspiring athletes and Olympians to share advice, tips and stoke with all the kids…It sure is a day to remember…see you there.” – Torah Bright.
As you can see from the video of last year’s event, for the kids, the mini-shred is a day to remember:
