Video: A Tribute to The Greatest Skier of All Time – Hoji

Matchstick Productions have been one of the leading producer in the ski film industry for 30 years and during that time the world’s best skiers have appeared in the annual Matchstick film release.  Eric Hjorleifson, aka Hoji, is a case in point and the now 41-year-old Canadian has featured in Matchstick movies since his first segment in 2004’s Yearbook.

During that time Hoji has garnered a reputation as one of the world’s greatest freeskiers. Whether he is the GOAT is a subjective call, but as this closing montage from his 2018 feature film shows, Hoji is right up there. Settle in for nine minutes of high-octane freeskiing at its best.
