The Freeride World Tour is held in steep, exposed and dangerous terrain, often in variable snow conditions and each venue with its own set of challenges. The athletes are some of the best big mountain freeriders  and in most events the athletes get one run only and to win they have to put it all on the line in a high risk-run with little or no room for error.

However, mistakes are made, and things can and do go wrong and as this video shows the results can be frightening.
