What Skiers Do In The Summer – A Video For The Times

For avid skiers and snowboarders, summer can be the longest and most tedious period of the year when winter and cold, snowy days in the mountains are just a distant memory.  To get through the eight months that the lifts are closed in Australia and New Zealand, many of us make the annual pilgrimage to the northern hemisphere but, as we all painfully aware, that’s not happening this year.

So, what are we going to do this summer? We ran this video a couple of years ago and given the amount of snow already falling in some of our favourite Northern Hemi resorts, it seems now is a good time to give it a re-run.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. It is going to be a long, long, long …. long summer.
