Mountainwatch | The Grasshopper
Written Monday 31stJuly, valid Wednesday 2ndJuly
Winds from the W-NW will continue to blow is guts out Monday, bringing more grey, bland weather. However, high pressure moves in Tuesday and gradually clears things up, leaving us with a fine, sunny day Wednesday to get us over the mid-week hump. If that’s not enough to lift your spirits, then have a look over the ditch at NZ, because they’re about to cop one of the biggest snowstorms of the season thus far.

Monday 31st
NSW will be mostly cloudy with patchy drizzle. Victoria will start out the same way, but will mostly clear up later in the morning. Strong W-NW winds will be blowing a gale in exposed areas.
Tuesday 1st
Cloud gradually clearing to fine, as strong SW winds gradually die out. There’ll also be a few spots of drizzle about Baw Baw and Buller throughout the day before it clears there later in the afternoon.
Wednesday 2nd
A fine, sunny day for all. NW winds picking up.
Extended Forecast
NW winds look to go turbo again Thursday before an active cold front hits Friday, likely dumping a heap of rain before a small top-up of snow.
High pressure will then settle in again, bringing fair weather through the weekend and early next week.
That’s all from me today, folks. See you again Wednesday.
