While the NSW resorts are closed due to NSW’s state-wide lockdown, Falls Creek, Hotham, Buller and Mt Baw Baw are open for visitors from regional Victoria and it has been a good week in the mountains.

The weather is changing today with the chance of rain then snow tonight, the past few days have been very pleasant, sunny with light winds and a melt-freeze cycle turning on spring-like conditions with firm snow early, softening a little by mid-morning.

The result has been some fun turns on the groomers each morning, laps in the park and spring turns off piste once the snow softens. It’s has been a nice pattern for people to enjoy and by all reports, locals and those fortunate visitors from regional Victoria have been making the most of it. Good to see in these testing times.

Here’s a few photos taken in and around the Victorian resorts over the past week. Enjoy
