Chumpy Pullin Foundation: Join us on the 8th of July, 2023, as we come together at every Australian alpine resort and to commemorate the remarkable life and achievements of the late Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin.

Shred for Chumpy Day is a special event where people from all walks of life gather at a dedicated meeting spot, share their personal stories about Chumpy, and embark on a symbolic lap of honour in his memory.

During Shred for Chumpy Day, we celebrate the indomitable spirit of Chumpy, an iconic Australian snowboarder who left an indelible mark on winter sports. As we honour his legacy, we also strive to promote the values he embodied—courage, perseverance, and a love for the mountains and the ocean.

At each participating location, participants will gather at the designated meeting spot. Together, we will share inspiring stories about Chumpy, reminiscing about his extraordinary career, infectious enthusiasm, and unwavering passion for his sport.

Whether you knew him personally or were touched by his incredible journey, this is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who admire and respect Chumpy’s legacy.

Following the storytelling session, we will embark on a collective lap of honour for Chumpy. This symbolic gesture represents our unity and solidarity as we pay tribute to the man who continues to inspire us all. Each lap completed is a testament to Chumpy’s impact on our lives and his enduring influence on future generations of athletes and enthusiasts.

Shred for Chumpy Day is not just limited to snow resorts; we extend our invitation to all beaches across Australia. Chumpy’s love for the ocean was just as profound as his passion for the mountains. By including the beaches, we hope to encompass all the elements that defined Chumpy’s adventurous spirit.
