The ’80s were an iconic decade for many reasons, but none more so than the trademark ’80s hotdogger culture that was alive and well on ski hills across Australia. This short video is the intro to a ski documentary filmed by Les Herstik.

Hit play and head back to a time when skis were longer, pants were tighter and the words “Daffy”, “Cossack” and “Backscratchers” were uttered on t-bars everywhere. Special mention has to go out to the mono-skier launching himself off The Bluff, and the skier sending the road gap at 2:12.
