Australian Forecast, Monday August 12th – Mild N-NW Winds and Plenty of Sunshine
Mountainwatch | The Grasshopper
The next several days will bring mild N-NW winds to the Aussie Alps as high pressure drifts away to the east. Skies will remain mostly sunny, but moisture pushing into eastern Australia from the Coral Sea may reach resorts in NSW on Wednesday in the form of light rain showers – nothing too serious, thankfully.
Monday August 12th
Another bluebird day with N-NW winds.
Tuesday August 13th
A mostly fine day. There’ll be a bit of cloud about, but most of it will be in Victoria, where there’s a slight chance of a light afternoon shower. NW winds.
Wednesday August 14th
Fine and sunny in Victoria. There’ll be some clouds on the NSW side with some light rain showers, although this may only affect Selwyn in the north. NW winds die away in the afternoon.
Thursday August 15th
A fine day with a little high cloud and light N-NW breezes.
Extended Forecast
We’ll cop some rain on Friday and Saturday as a low passes over the Aussie Alps with possibly some snow up high. Conditions may remain dry from Sunday into early next week as high pressure reasserts itself again. Our next chance for a proper snowfall is through the back half of next week, as cooler, unsettled weather is on the cards.
That’s all from me today, folks. The next forecast is Wednesday. See you then, and have a great couple of days.
