About Mt Hotham

Mt Hotham Ski Resort

Mt Hotham Ski Resort is the only resort in the Southern Hemisphere where the Village is located on top of the mountain. Nestled in the Victorian Alps of the Great Dividing Range, Mt Hotham is considered to be the Powder Capital of Australia. The resort boasts 360 degree alpine views with ski-in ski-out opportunities all through the village.

There are 320 hectares of skiable terrain with 13 chair lifts providing access to downhill ski runs, the longest being 2.5km, and 35km of cross country trails. The mountain caters for all ski abilities with 40% of the terrain suitable for intermediate skiers, and 40% for advanced skiers. The two terrain parks offer beginner, intermediate and advanced lines of jumps, rails and boxes. There is also a world-class Boardercross course with berms, jumps and rollers that is open to the public when not being used for events or training.
