Another clear morning, but a little windier with a stiff northwest wind up high at 48kms/hr. It is currently +0.5 in the village and -0.5 up the top with the wind chill down to a cold -11. The snowmakers had another good night and the guns are still going up at Merritts, High Noon and the Upper Supertrail. There will be a nice layer of dry fresh man-made snow on High Noon, Walkabout and Ballroom, worth getting up there early for some turns on the corduroy. Friday Flat is in good shape and they're opening two more snow runners and more terrain down there today. These moderate northwest winds are the sign of an approaching cold front, nothing major, but we see should see some snow showers tomorrow and across the weekend, with just a few cms in it. As for the first big fall of the season, there's a possibility for the following week, but that's a long way out so check the Grasshopper's daily forecasts to see how things develop.
