Lake Mountain Ski resort

Staff were very helpful and kind and working hard to move the snow. Food was fabulous for take away hot chips and a marsh mellow maker outside. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Everybody was happy, cheerful, tolerant with silly and excitable children, and having fun. Equipment was easy to hire. Parking was easy as.
One of the ski resort closets to Melbourne, only about 2 hours drive from north. Drive is scenic and calming.

Resort is well maintained and has many facilities. Best to hire your gear outside to avoid lines.

Cafe food was average and expensive for the quantity offered. Weekends can get really crowded, especially during peak season.

Entry for a car is 57$, which is a bit expensive. And if the top car park is full, you have to take a shuttle (free) to go on top where resort is. This a bit cumbersome for families who have to carry a lot of luggage up and down. Best to come early if you want a car parking spot close to resort.

Overall experience was "okay".
Nice place for kids and adults to play. Still needs improvement. Magic carpet didn't work which is very important for climbing up. You need to check their website whether wheelchain is required. Don't worry there are plenty of hiring store on the way. You won't miss them. Don't worry about ski cloths, you can hire them, too. Good parking management .
