It is currently +5.4 at the base in Perisher and +3.6 up the top with a north wind at 13-37km/hr but it will be stronger up high, the forecast for NW winds top high at 50-70ks.____________ No snowmaking overnight and the V8 and the beginners snow runner will open again today, accessing a cover of soft snow. It looks like a return to fine weather tomorrow ahead of a warm, wet front on Saturday followed by a stronger front next week that should see rain turn to snow around the 17th/18th. ___________The Grasshopper reckons this one is looking "promising" for snow and a return to cold temps and he has all the details in today's forecast.
