Sep 18 2025 06:43 AM: It is a nice clear morning and we have a sunny day ahead and it is cold now, currently -6.3 at the base in Perisher and -4.1 up the top, with an expected max temp in Perisher valley of +7 degrees. The wind is very light now, 2km/hr out of the west but it will strengthen, the forecast for northwest winds at 20-30km/hr, so we shouldn't have any wind-hold issues today.___________________________________ 32 lifts are scheduled to open today, accessing 52 groomed runs and the snow has had a good overnight freeze and is firm now so stick to the groomed runs early. It will start to soften off piste mid-morning when there will be some fun spring snow while lower runs will turn slushy and get a little slow later as the day warms. ______________________ An other cold front is due tomorrow with showers, high elevation snow and strong NW winds followed by snow showers across the weekend.
