Weather: Hirafu Base to Top 8-10cm New - Minus 9c Top..

Snow conditions: By Rod at 730am JST Cold temps and light snow falling here in Niseko this morning with a top up of 5-6 cm that fell in the early hrs. Present temps of 9c below zero at top with minus 4c at base. WNW jet-stream at 25k high up and calm to 5k down low which should provide good all round conditions for the 3-4 upper mountain lifts that are scheduled to open today. Ace 4, King 4, Jumbo 4 and Wonderland will get you higher up and link with ease to all 4 mountains of Grand Hirafu. The outlook is great folks with some intense pulses around lunchtime today. The Sunday to Wednesday snowfall program is looking really good - Further down the week, most weather models and JMA synoptics are showing steady snowfall to continue till around Christmas day at this stage. Keep it going Ullr....  12hr skiing/riding days on offer now with lift access from 830am to 830pm under Niseko's massive flood light system through till around mid-March.
