ON THE GROUND REPORT
Jan 23 2026 07:35 AM: Another 20cm overnight, continuing the steady refresh and pushing the snowpack even deeper across the mountain. Cold, stable air is keeping the snow light and dry, with soft powder riding well from top to bottom. Winds are relatively calm compared to recent days, helping visibility hold together and making upper terrain more pleasant when it opens. Light snow is expected to linger, topping things up through the day and keeping surfaces fresh. Overall, it’s a classic Niseko mid-winter setup with plenty of soft turns still on offer.
