ON THE GROUND REPORT
Jun 19 2019 07:00 AM: Wed, June 19: We had 3cms of snow overnight, but the front has moved through and it is going to be a nice , sunny day. It is cold this morning, the temp in the valley at -6.2 and it is -6.3 up the top where the wind-chill is -14.5 thanks to a southwest wind at 27kms/hr. The snowmakers had a huge night with 211 guns going, but no new terrain open with 8 lifts spinning, the best cover on Front Valley and Goats Gullie. The next few nights will be cold, perfect for snowmaking , so we should see more terrain open soon. Unfortunately there're no significant storms on the horizon with the chance of just a few cms next week.
